Gabrielle

Queensland State Manager, Director

Gabrielle is the founder and director of Early Intervention Support Services, which was first established in 1998. She is a dedicated and experienced professional with a background in Paediatric Sleep Consultancy.

 

With over two decades of experience in the industry, Gabrielle has extensive knowledge and expertise in helping families with children and infants who are experiencing sleeping difficulties. Her unique perspective as a parent of a child with additional requirements allows her to empathise and understand the challenges that families may face, and provide tailored and effective solutions. Gabrielle's passion and dedication to her work, along with her professional qualifications and experience, make her a valuable resource for families seeking support and guidance in this area.

Georgie

Allied Health Services Coordinator (VIC)

Georgie is an empathetic and friendly person. Her experience in the Mental Health and NDIS fields have given her a strong understanding of services across the state and the challenges faced by families in finding and accessing services. She believes in the importance of evidence-based and client-centred practice, as well as the holistic nature of wellbeing.

 

She has a strong administrative background and holds a Master of Business, which has bred exceptional organisational and time management skills. This complements her role in assisting Kirsten in supporting our families across Victoria, managing the Victorian team of therapy assistants, and onboarding new clients.

 

As a parent herself, she approaches all our clients with sensitivity and compassion and endeavours to ensure both clients and their families are supported throughout their journey with us.

Victorian State Manager

Kirsten is a valued member of our Victorian team and is responsible for managing our families in the state. She brings over a decade of experience to her role, having worked extensively in the Health and Disability Sector.

 

Her extensive knowledge and experience in this field allow her to provide exceptional support and guidance to our families. Kirsten is dedicated to ensuring that the needs and concerns of our families are met, and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Paige

Social Skills Coordinator (QLD)

Paige has a wealth of experience working with children and has a deep understanding of the unique needs of children with additional needs. She is dedicated to helping children achieve new skills and reach their full potential.
 

Paige is known for her enthusiastic attitude and her ability to design fun and exciting holiday program activities that not only entertain children but also help them achieve their social goals. Her dedication to her clients and her commitment to providing the best possible care make her an invaluable asset to our organisation.
 

In addition to her professional qualifications, Paige has trained and qualified her toy cavoodle, Lily, as a fully-fledged disability assistance dog. Lily is an integral part of the EISS team and is often present at our Social Skills Therapy sessions, providing emotional support and regulation for children who need it.

Senior Occupational Therapist

Emily is a dedicated and highly experienced registered Senior Occupational Therapist with a wealth of knowledge in working with paediatric clients who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, and Global Developmental Delays. With a background in early intervention services, Emily is a specialist in her field, utilising her wealth of knowledge to provide the best possible care for her clients. She has a passion for mentoring therapy assistants and personal development and is dedicated to helping her clients reach their full potential.

Emily uses an enthusiastic and collaborative approach with her multi-disciplinary team. Her ability to work effectively in a team environment ensures that clients receive the best possible care and support. She is known for her ability to connect with her clients and their families, providing a warm, caring and approachable attitude that helps families navigate through the challenges they face.

Becca

Senior Occupational Therapist

Becca is a registered Senior Occupational Therapist, possessing a combination of education and experience that equips her to provide evidence-based interventions to children, their families and teachers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Occupational Therapy. In addition to her advanced education, Becca has certifications in specialised child mental health interventions, including the SOS Approach to Feeding, Zones of Regulation, Talking Toileting, DIR/Floortime, Food Chaining Therapy, and Sleep with Disability.
 

Becca has experience working in a multi-disciplinary Allied Health team and is adept at delivering tailored interventions to meet the specific needs of her clients. She has experience working with children with a wide range of developmental and behavioural diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), coordination & planning difficulties, social development, gross & fine motor development, emotional regulation and anxiety, sensory processing, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

 

Her expertise in these areas allows her to provide comprehensive and effective interventions that address the unique needs of each child.

Bella

Occupational Therapist

Bella is an experienced registered Occupational Therapist who is highly dedicated to providing exceptional therapy and interventions for her pediatric clients. Her passion for the field was sparked by witnessing the positive impact therapy had on a close family member's quality of life.

Bella has a wealth of experience providing community therapy to children and adolescents aged 3-18 years old with a wide range of challenges and disabilities. She has a deep understanding of how to address the unique needs of each child and is able to deliver person and family-centred supports.
 

Her key worker training allows her to design interventions that are tailored to meet the specific needs of her clients. Bella is also an expert in working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary Allied Health teams to achieve the best possible therapy outcomes for her clients. She understands the importance of a holistic approach in providing therapy and is able to work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and effective care to her clients.

Monique

Senior Psychologist

Monique is an accomplished and compassionate registered Psychologist who has dedicated her career to supporting young people and their families. She holds a BA in Psychology, a GradDipEd in Primary and a PGradDipPsych. Monique has over 17 years of experience in private practice and as a school psychologist, providing advanced-level psychological assessment, behaviour modification strategies, crisis intervention, and trauma counselling. She also has certifications in Seasons for Growth and Psychology Board Approved Supervision.

Monique has extensive experience working with a variety of difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, developmental disorders, social and emotional deficits, and learning and behavioural challenges. Her expertise in these areas enables her to create individualised and effective interventions to meet the unique needs of each child.
 

She is passionate about promoting mental well-being and creating a safe, inclusive, and understanding environment for her clients of diverse backgrounds. Monique works closely with families to achieve the best outcomes for her clients, utilising evidence-based approaches. She is known for her empathetic and non-judgmental approach, which provides a safe and supportive environment for her clients.

Psychologist (Prov.)

Tahlia is a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist with a strong dedication to helping children and adolescents with and without disabilities achieve positive therapeutic outcomes through early intervention. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology Advanced, and a Master of Professional Psychology.

 

Her extensive experience working with children and adolescents with and without disabilities, allows her to understand the correlation between early intervention and positive therapeutic outcomes. Tahlia is committed to delivering high-quality results for her clients, she is known for her ability to establish a strong rapport while respecting autonomy and diversity, and for her passion and determination to help clients on their path towards health and well-being.

 

Tahlia's approach is evidence-based and client-centred, providing purposeful and targeted support that meets the unique therapeutic needs of each client. She is also committed to keeping her client's needs and goals at the forefront of her practice, to help them reach their full potential.

Lais is a highly qualified and dedicated Psychologist who is committed to supporting children and their families to thrive developmentally, emotionally, and socially. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and has completed training in child development and family therapy. Lais is also trained in Engaging in Positive Behaviour Practices.
 

Lais has experience providing psychological interventions and assessments to children and families of diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about working collaboratively with her clients and their families to address and overcome challenges and achieve their goals.


Lais approaches her clients with empathy and a client-centered focus, creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals to work through their difficulties and achieve positive change. With training in child development, family therapy, and Engaging in Positive Behavior Practices, she offers a holistic and evidence-based approach to treatment. This combined expertise is crucial in ensuring the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Victoria is a highly qualified and experienced Senior Certified Practising Speech Pathologist at EISS. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) Honours and has a wealth of qualifications in various specialties such as elective grammar intervention in children with language disorders, infant feeding foundations, key word signing, paediatric feeding and swallowing education. Victoria also has specialised studies in CAS (Childhood Apraxia of Speech) and Ataxic Dysarthria.
 

Victoria's extensive experience working with children has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the unique needs of children with additional needs. Her experience working with children with additional needs has given her a strong understanding of how to design and deliver interventions that are tailored to meet the specific needs of her clients. Victoria is passionate about helping children and their families achieve their goals and overcome challenges through her holistic and evidence-based approach.

Sunayna

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Sunayna is a knowledgeable and accomplished Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist committed to helping children and families reach their full potential. She holds a Master of Speech Pathology, Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Applied Science.
 

Sunayna has a wide range of experience in therapy planning, assessments, and report writing. She has extensive knowledge in articulation, language, literacy, and pragmatics. Sunayna has worked with children presenting with a variety of conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, auditory processing disorders, global developmental delays, phonological awareness and literacy difficulties, and other speech and/or language disorders. She also has experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
 

Sunayna uses a naturally compassionate, encouraging, and enthusiastic approach to support children and families. She is passionate about inclusion, equality, and making therapy fun and accessible to engage and empower children with the necessary skills and abilities to reach their full potential.

Laura

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Laura is a highly skilled and passionate Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with a Master of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Science degree. She has a wealth of experience working with children with various additional needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities.
 

Laura is passionate about delivering effective speech therapy interventions and has experience in areas such as apraxia, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), fluency, language, articulation, and literacy. She is highly knowledgeable and has a deep understanding of the latest techniques and approaches, enabling her to create therapy interventions that meet each child's individual needs.
 

Laura also has experience supervising allied health assistants and providing professional development to primary and secondary school teachers and aids.

 

She is dedicated to ensuring that her clients receive the best possible care and that her team members are well-equipped to provide high-quality support. Laura is a dedicated professional who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the children and families she works with.
