Frequently Asked Questions

  • What services do Early Intervention Support Services offer?

We provide many services, including individual assessment and therapy including speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, allied health assistants, social groups, and respite camps.

  • Where do the sessions take place?

At EISS, we recognise the significance of delivering support within familiar and everyday environments, ensuring children feel comfortable, secure, and can establish and adhere to routines. Consequently, we exclusively offer our services through outreach therapy, including homes, schools, kindergartens, childcare centres, and community centres. We aim to streamline the process for families, facilitating a path for children to achieve their goals. By prioritising support in environments where children feel most at ease, we not only respect the natural flow of family life but also optimise the therapeutic impact for the child.

  • How long do the sessions go for?

  • Sessions delivered by our allied health professionals go for a total of 60 minutes. Sessions involving assessments may be longer in duration.

  • Our allied health assistant sessions go for 1 - 3 hours.

  • Social skills therapy groups are primarily a full day (8 hours), with half-day activities also on offer.

  • Repite camps are usually 2-night stays.
