Occupational Therapy Team

Liyara is an Occupational Therapist who is passionate and enthusiastic about working with children and young people. With experience working with children and their families in the community, Liyara adopts a collaborative and client-centric approach to therapy; empowering children to work towards achieving goals that are meaningful to them. 
 
Liyara has experience working within the NDIS both as a clinician and as a support worker, and has accrued valuable knowledge and insight into the inner workings of the NDIS as well as the unique challenges individuals can face in their daily lives. She is committed to navigating these complexities alongside young people and their families. Liyara values developing strong connections and rapport with clients and their families to deliver services and outcomes in line with the goals of the client. 
 
Liyara is committed to empowering children and young people to work towards goals that are meaningful and relevant to them, including areas such as play skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing, as well as self-care amongst others.
