Lake Ainsworth Camp (2-nights)

  • When: Wednesday 15 - Friday 17 April, 2026

  • Where: Lake Ainsworth Sport and Recreation Centre, Lennox Head, NSW

  • For more infomation, please see camp booklet.

Join us for a two-night, adventure-filled break at beautiful Lake Ainsworth, designed specifically for children with disabilities. This inclusive camp blends outdoor exploration, gentle learning, and social connection in a calm, supportive environment, with professional therapists and experienced staff guiding every step.

Set between lake and beach, the program offers a thoughtful mix of water-based, land-based, and cultural activities that can be adapted to each child’s needs, strengths, and sensory profile. Children will build confidence, independence, and friendships while having fun.

Activities we will explore include:

  • Beach games and movement-based play

  • Kayaking on Lake Ainsworth

  • Marine studies and nature discovery

  • Orienteering and guided exploration

  • Slip ’n slide fun

  • Cookout damper experience

  • Traditional Indigenous games, focusing on teamwork, culture, and connection

Therapists will support individual goals throughout the camp, ensuring every child can participate meaningfully and safely, whether they thrive on high-energy play or prefer slower-paced engagement. Places are limited to maintain a high staff-to-child ratio and a calm, well-supported experience.

Ready to join us? Explore the program, meet the team, and secure your place for April 2026.

Our Social Group Camps offer exciting opportunities for children to develop communication skills and strengthen peer relationships through fun and engaging experiences.
